SECAPRO kiosks

We don't buy or resell kiosks — they are our own products. We design the construction, fit the technology and program them ourselves. That's why we can adapt them to your space, colour and design — and why we'll still source a spare part for them five years from now.

Whose product it is

Ours — Czech from the first sketch

The kiosk is a SECAPRO product. We designed the construction, we fit the technology, the software inside is ours and we issue the declaration of conformity. It's not an imported box with a relabelled logo.

The engineering work — cutting, bending, welding and painting the enclosure — is done for us by a Czech partner shop to our production drawings. We're not machinists and we don't pretend to be; that's exactly why that part looks the way it does.

What matters for you follows from this: we change dimensions, colour and the layout of components by editing our own documentation, not by negotiating with a foreign manufacturer. And because we know what the kiosk is made of, we'll track down a spare part even years later.

What on the kiosk is ours

  • Structural design and production documentation
  • Fitting of technology and commissioning
  • e-Recepce software and the PSA control platform
  • Declaration of conformity and handover documentation
  • Service and spare parts
Indoor kiosk

For the shop floor, the turnstile, the reception desk

A 27-inch touchscreen with IP65 front-side protection, an ID card and passport reader, a QR code reader, an RFID card dispenser, an audio module and an industrial PC for round-the-clock operation. Navigation LED elements guide the visitor step by step.

It comes in three versions: a wall-mounted base module, a wall-mounted unit with the card dispenser module, and a free-standing unit on a pedestal. When we don't know where the kiosk will go, we assume the free-standing version.

The frame is made of 2 mm steel, as standard in RAL 9016, 7016, 7045 and 5017, but we can handle any RAL shade. The front panel is full-print tempered glass — your logo and a custom welcome graphic can go on it.

Outdoor kiosk

For the traffic island, the barrier, the frost

The outdoor kiosk stands right at the entrance and processes the driver without them having to get out. A 15-inch display with brightness up to 1200 cd/m², RFID identification, reading of ID documents and QR codes, GSM or VoIP communication with security, and direct control of barriers and gates.

The structure is made of 2 mm steel with IP65 protection, heating and Peltier-element cooling, so it keeps running from −20 to 65 °C. It is anchored with four M12 anchors into a concrete foundation or mounted on a pedestal.

For truck traffic there is a variant with two displays stacked one above the other — one at the eye level of a truck driver, the other for a passenger car. This variant is always supplied without a canopy, because a roof would block reach from the cab.

When a canopy is supplied

  • Yes — when the kiosk stands off the roadway and drivers get out at it
  • No — on a traffic island, passing vehicles would damage it
  • No — with the truck variant, it would obstruct reach from the cab
  • Can be added at any time later as a separate accessory

Two things that aren't part of the delivery and should surprise you at the very start, not at the end: The SIM card for the kiosk is supplied by the customer (for both the indoor and outdoor unit), as is the safety-briefing content. The outdoor kiosk can't issue RFID cards yet — card issuance is handled by the indoor kiosk; the outdoor one can have a reader as a backup for when the licence plate can't be read reliably.
Frequently asked questions

What people ask most often

Will the outdoor kiosk withstand year-round operation?

Yes, it's built for it: a steel construction, IP65 protection, heating and cooling for operation from −20 to +65 °C. Our outdoor kiosks have been running non-stop at the entrances of industrial sites for years.

Can the kiosk be adapted to our company?

Yes — any RAL shade for the colour, the front glass printed with your logo and graphics, optional modules to match your check-in scenario. It's our product; a change is an edit to our documentation, not a negotiation with a foreign factory.

What can the kiosk read?

ID cards and passports (the machine-readable zone), QR codes from invitations and pre-registrations, RFID cards. The outdoor variant is designed to process the driver from the truck cab.
